ESTsoft Engine is the proprietary technology built by South Korean company ESTsoft specifically for its flagship MMORPG Cabal Online (2005) — a stylish, action-oriented title with fast tab-target combat that's drawn roughly 30 million players across more than 60 countries over two decades. Unlike many Korean studios, ESTsoft later moved away from a fully in-house approach: the sequel Cabal 2 runs on CryEngine 3, and the upcoming Cabal Red uses Unreal Engine — leaving the original ESTsoft Engine as the technology behind the classic, original Cabal Online specifically.
