The great Daeva migration across Atreia is officially complete. NCSOFT has finalized the server merge for Aion Classic, folding the fast-paced Ascend progression world into the primary Siel server. To cushion the economic shock of the move and give incoming players a seamless transition, the team rolled out an unexpected perk: every single character arriving from Ascend receives the permanent Eternal Blessing account upgrade completely free of charge.

To grasp why this matters, look back at the economy rework from earlier this year. NCSOFT retired the dated monthly subscription model of Siel's Aura, unlocking full gathering rates, XP, and Kinah drops for everyone by default. In its place arrived Eternal Blessing — a one-time, permanent account unlock priced at 860 Quna that granted vital travel conveniences and quality-of-life perks. Handing that exact upgrade out for free to an entire server population was a bold call. And a risky one for community relations.

Naturally, long-time Siel residents who paid hard cash or farmed premium currency for their upgrades were poised to call foul. NCSOFT moved quickly to neutralize the backlash. An automated compensation pipeline is now live: every Aion Classic player who previously purchased Eternal Blessing will receive a dedicated compensation coupon. No support tickets, no tedious back-and-forth — just an automated credit back to qualifying accounts.

The consolidation also brought the usual server merge cleanup:

• Merged characters and legions are now fully aligned with standard Siel environment settings and economic balance;
• Naming collisions were resolved based on character level, creation date, and recent login history, with displaced players receiving Rename Tickets directly in their inventory;
• Legion Event Missions were temporarily put on hold and will fully activate following the regular morning weekly reset.

With player populations unified under one roof, Abyss roaming and high-tier dungeon recruitment should see an immediate bump in activity. For Ascend migrants, diving straight into Siel's competitive meta with permanent QoL perks already unlocked is about as smooth a landing as anyone could hope for.
