CryEngine Engine

CryEngine is Crytek's engine, originally built for the shooter Far Cry (2004) and known for graphics that were genre-leading at the time, plus large, open outdoor environments. In the MMO space, it's been picked up by projects aiming for a visual bar above the genre average — including several Korean and Asian titles looking to stand out on graphics alone.
