Zemi Interactive has officially announced that Iverian Wars: Craxion vs Defugel will leave Early Access and launch into full release on October 13, 2026. Designed as a direct spiritual successor to the 2008 MMORPG 4Story, the title faced harsh criticism during its initial rollout, sitting at a 30% Mostly Negative rating on Steam across nearly 600 reviews.

Players primarily called out technical instability, broken hitboxes, and monetization pacing. The team claims the launch build addresses several core engine bottlenecks alongside significant balance tweaks.

The centerpiece of the update is Arahur Tomb, a new high-tier raid dungeon. Parties will delve through multi-layered crypt encounters culminating in a battle against ancient ruler Arahur, yielding Mythic-tier weaponry designed to shake up the current PvP meta.

Simultaneously, the update introduces the first scheduled Territory War between the Craxion and Defugel factions. Capturing forts grants controlling guilds regional tax revenue alongside server-wide experience and drop rate modifiers.

Core additions arriving with the launch patch:

  • Endgame raid Arahur Tomb featuring mythic armor sets;
  • Faction-wide Territory Wars with reworked gate destruction mechanics;
  • Maximum level cap raised to Level 100;
  • Network optimizations aimed at reducing desync during large-scale open-world brawls.

Whether this overhaul is enough to win back nostalgic 4Story veterans and pull the Steam rating out of the red remains to be seen once territory battles kick off.
