Pearl Abyss marked ten years of Black Desert's North American and European servers with the 2026 Heidel Ball in Irvine, California. The studio used the stage for two announcements at once: the game's 32nd class, Agent, and a batch of coupon rewards for everyone still playing.
Agent goes by Edward Henry Canary and is introduced as Deadeye's younger brother. He carries the same Revolver as his sister, only in a heavier caliber, and rounds out his kit with grenades and a signature weapon called the Hexround. Pearl Abyss pitches him as a close-range hunter who strikes from a blind spot and disappears before anyone reacts. His movement skill, Blink, lets him warp through space using the Magic Bullet that powers his shots.
Only the Succession path launches first — July 29 in Korea, July 30 globally on PC, August 6 on consoles. Awakening won't arrive until winter. Producer Yang Wan-su explained the studio now plans to ship one new class per year, Succession in summer and Awakening in winter, using the extra time to fix balance across the roster instead of chasing speed.
The second gift comes in coupon form, redeemable through the in-game shop or the Adventurer Support menu. The first code, BEYONDTHEJOURNEY, unlocks a full bundle in one go:
- 50,000 Cron Stones.
- Five Valuable Chests with a choice of enhancement hammer.
- Valks's Advice chests at +450, +350, +300, and +250.
- A weapon exchange coupon chest.
The second code, TYALLADVENTURERS, hands out ten Full Set Thank-You Chests at once. Both expire at 23:59 on November 26, 2026, which leaves plenty of runway — no need to rush, no reason to forget either.
Players chasing the rest of the haul just need to log in. Two attendance events run from July 31 to September 16 and from September 4 to October 21, together offering another 25,000 Cron Stones, eight more hammer chests — including the rare Causality Hammer, which stops Ecratal and Aferon accessories from dropping enhancement level on a failed attempt — and a set of dye chests. Add it all up and the Cron Stone total climbs to 75,000, a figure that's already doing the rounds in the comments.
