From September 23 to October 11, standard matchmaking takes a back seat as servers dive into high-stakes asymmetrical warfare with Waffentrager: Resonance. The core combat loop remains as intense as ever: a coordinated squad of specialized Harriers must dismantle defensive sentinels, secure unstable plasma charges, and strip the protective barriers off the Engineer's gargantuan war machine. Beyond the tactical battlefield, competitive attention is locked on the simultaneous opening of the Engineer's Portal, introducing coveted top-tier hardware backed by transparent drop mechanics.

Leading the reward lineup is the Gepard, an all-new German Tier X assault medium tank tailored for front-line shock tactics. Living up to its namesake, the Gepard combines explosive top speed with rapid target acquisition, dependable gun handling, and highly sloped turret armor capable of bouncing heavy-caliber return fire. Alongside the Gepard, the elite Tier X pool with a 2.5% drop rate features returning heavy-hitters including the electricity-themed Ampere, the autoloading Projet 57, the agile E 50 G-Serie, and the Polish brawler Czołg (P) wz.46 Wiedźmak. A separate 4% probability bracket covers competitive Tier VIII and IX premiums, highlighting the TBT, Bóbr, KV-4 Tseyts, Skorpion, and Kampfpanzer 07 RH.

To eliminate loot box frustration, the event incorporates a strict and visible pity threshold alongside duplicate protection:

• If no vehicle drops across 39 portal activations, the 40th opening guarantees an unowned vehicle at a 100% rate.
• Full duplicate immunity prioritizes uncollected machines from the prize list before any compensation triggers.
• Every activation yields guaranteed gold value, returning a minimum of 200 gold (with rolls of 400 or 800 gold possible) in addition to 3D styles, premium time, and crew directives.
• Unwanted loot rolls can be rerolled once per attempt for 450 gold, with the reroll officially progressing the 40-crate pity counter.

Acquiring Engineer Starters does not require direct purchases in the premium shop.
